A Fairy's Sleep
Dropped down
A wilting flower casting down its petals
The spiraling of soft green velvet leaves
Like the crumpled pages of old letters
Whose words tell of old loves and griefs
Windcast
The seeds of time are scattered in the breeze
Fulfilling the time-old decree of life and death
Yet the feelings of old will never cease
Even when one has drawn one's last breath
Velvet soft
Falling asleep in the dark upon the moss
Feeling nothing but silken flowers
Hearing nothing but the whisper of of young winds lost
And the cold sweet spray of rainshowers
Awakening
As sunlight falls across the wide fields
And life awakens all around the forests
Morning breezes tease the windmills
And sing their song through the laurels

Ode to My Lover.
What are you but a dream unattainable?
Someone my soul is unworthy of
O beautiful person of such perfection
A mortal's prayer answered, a Cupid to a Psyche
You are the one I never thought I'd meet
Yet somehow, magically, here you are with me
My hand is in your hand as surely as the sun lights the day
You are so wise to me
And I am all the wiser when I am with you
You make me feel beautiful
With you my life seems so worth living, so colorful and vibrant
Everything lights up when my eyes come to rest upon you
I wake up every morning with a smile when I'm with you
My nights are no longer endless stretches of a child's nightmares
But warm, friendly, magical moments with you in my life
When you sink into me, our bodies melt, and I feel
Like I am complete, whole, a part of someone who could show me
how much better I could be
You bring heaven to me with every heartbeat, everytime
Music is like angels' gentle strummings of harps with
your essence in the taste of my life
Like cold sweet raindrops falling upon my tongue
You are like the fragrant rose petals you leave on my pillow each day
You are like the love notes I tuck into your pocket each morning
The one who makes me laugh and laugh with you
Beautiful heart, incarnate, morning star
My heart, my soul, my self
How can I ever hope to be good enough for you
But you
You make me so much more than I could ever be
With you I find I can be so much more a better person
With you I am so much more a better person.

Forgetting leads to Forgiveness.
Forgotten now, is all I ask
Forgiveness, what I dare not ask
Too late the fates wrought in the past
The anger stirred shall always last
Things said too harsh, too late, too fast
A different path cannot be set
Weary spirits rest! The die's been cast
Harsh words have caused these sores to fest'
But time alone may clear this mess
Leave now to start new paths
When mem'ries fade, pain will be less
Flowers will grow among the grass
The hurt will go when one forgets
Resentment will not stand time's test
Even rcks fall when oceans crash
Against their stubborn unmoving mass
And anger die like west's sunset.

The Enchanted Garden.

A thousand whispering horses sat in a tree
A thousand shimmering lights gather before me
Twelve hundred blossoms awake in sleepy perfume
To dance in gathering dusk and gloom

Look! The fairies are coming out to play
For today's the eve of Mid Summer's Day
A dozen shadows gather by the trees
To watch and whisper and sing their hymns

Listen! To the lilies talk of immortality
Beside the sweet waters which swirl and dance with glee
The bees and ladybirds are holding a wedding
Among the Canterbury bells which ring

See Irish stones dance down the path
A merry jig which makes them laugh
But the cat curled up upon a mushroom
To weave some silk upon its loom

Drink dew of honey from flowerlips
And feast on bushels of gooseberries
A dancing sorceress appears only once
And everyone stops to witness her dance

The violets are whispering spells for wizards
The turtles are having a race by the river
Ribbons of ribbed moonlight flutter from the sky
Pulled by a thousand Empress butterflies

I dance my own dance to the invisible harp
Which lies so well hidden by the prince of that charm
And feel all the magic and beauty and splendour
Of this delightful enchanted garden.

O! Love, stepping in and out
Upon these black and white steps
Further, further down and round
The quiet dark round tower
Light doth flicker by and by
Lighting a path for those who tread
With silence and faith their steps
Spell out what eager love dictates
Wisht! Hear the wind which blows aft!
Its perfumed voice brings promise
Of those who descend in love
And seek to set their hearts free
Murmured voices ripples water
Set with lotus blossoms
Many dreams are let unfurled
And many drift in sweet bliss
O, come to where lovers meet
Under the moonlit ivy
Where poetry is sweet rhythm
With touch as soft as rose leaf
Let magic and love mingle
And set all lovers' hearts free

Fissure
In the dark
An arrow
Found its mark
It plunges
In my heart
A mystery
Opens up
Fire
In the dark
